SEVENSTORE believes the future of fashion and retail is consumer driven and permeates our surrounding local communities, with our retail space being a convergence of globally recognised labels alongside the next generation of design talent. Grounded by our ethos of championing creativity and culture, in our continued partnership with Liverpool John Moores University, SEVENSTORE invited Third Year BA (Hons) Fashion Communication students to show Liverpool through their eyes, and through the people they believe lie at the beating heart of the city.

Dissecting the theme of ‘Community’ and using SEVENSTORE’s latest Autumn/Winter ‘21 collections, SEVENSTORE and LJMU are proud to present ‘Materialize.’ Seven collaborative groups of students worked across production, styling and photography to show how fashion is more than merely clothing, but a manifestation of expression and individuality. This partnership aims to show that fashion as a wider medium can act as a vehicle for change across the city of Liverpool, driven by its young people and aided by SEVENSTORE as a hub for leading fashion brands.

The following projects take inspiration from the likes of local skaters, poets and DJ Collectives – subjects as diverse as the SEVENSTORE roster, further portraying this city as an internationally recognised axis of creativity and diversity.

'Materialize' is is now on show at SEVENSTORE's Baltic Triangle store now.
